The SOS's newest fundraising venture is the Jungle Shop located in Ubud, a thrift/charity/opportunity store selling high-quality donated second-hand goods. The Jungle Shop began trading in April 2009 and has so far been a success with a wide-ranging clientele: the local Balinese, international tourists and Bali's expat community. The Jungle Shop aims to provide an environmentally friendly way to shop by only selling recycled items at prices affordable for everyone.
Many
businesses have supported our cause by either placing a donation point in their
business or by donating end of season or sample stock items. Some of these
businesses include Bali Spirit, Bali Buddha, Lila Lane, Quicksilver and Spicy
Clothing. The Jungle Shop also employs local Balinese staff aiming to support
our local community. We invite you to visit our store on Jalan Gootama, Ubud, Bali to either buy or donate to save a primate.
