Celebrity Comedians Stand Up in Aid of SOS

Celebrity comedians swing by London's Lyceum Theatre to support the plight of the Sumatran Orangutan

A selection of the finest cult comedians come together for OrangAid, a very special night of comedy in aid of The Sumatran Orangutan Society. Headlining with fresh new material is SOS Patron Bill Bailey who will be joined by fellow musical virtuoso Tim Minchin. The star studded line up also features Jason Manford, Nina Conti and Alistair Barrie with a special guest appearance on the night from The Mighty Boosh's Bollo (AKA Dave Brown).

Simon Munnery will host the evening which is being held at London's Lyceum Theatre (home to the West End's Lion King) on Monday June 1st and shall treat the audience to over 3 hours of hilarious stand-up comedy from 7.30pm to 10.30pm.

SOS Patron Bill Bailey  spoke of the vital work being undertaken by the Sumatran Orangutan Society saying: "I have a huge amount of respect for SOS and the tireless work they do to improve the lot of Sumatra's dwindling orang-utan population. As the habitat of these gentle giants is destroyed, their plight is a constant grim reminder of the destructive power of human encroachment and the work of SOS is now more vitally important than ever."

Ticket prices range from £20 to £25 and are available through Ticketmaster. All proceeds from the event will help conservation projects to save the critically endangered Sumatran Orangutan from imminent extinction.
