Tuan is inspired by the incredible Sumatran orangutans we work to protect every day in Northern Sumatra, one of the last places on Earth where orangutans, elephants, tigers and rhinos still roam the same forest.
Tuan is cheeky, charismatic and a little bit wild, just like the species he represents. And now he’s back on shelves as a limited-edition Chococo milk chocolate, helping raise vital funds and awareness for rainforest conservation.
Tuan the milk chocolate orangutan, is joined by Tuandua the dark chocolate orangutan and Tuantiga the oat m!lk chocolate orangutan.
Every Tuan, Tuandua and Tuantiga sold supports our work to:
With every bite, you’re helping to plant the seeds of a better future.

Chococo has supported the Sumatran Orangutan Society since 2019, and this year we’re celebrating a renewed chapter in our partnership.
Alongside the relaunch of the Orangutan chocolates, we’ll be working together throughout August to raise awareness, share stories from the rainforest, and invite customers to join our mission to protect orangutans for generations to come.
“Tuan, Tuandua and Tuantiga might be the only chocolate orangutan that actually helps save real ones! It’s a fantastic way to bring a little joy to your day while supporting something much bigger: the protection of Sumatra’s incredible rainforests.”
— Emma Cowley, Corporate Partnerships Manager, Sumatran Orangutan Society

On Tuesday 19 August, join us and Chococo in celebrating International Orangutan Day. It’s a day to honour these gentle forest giants and take action to protect their future.
Together, we can make sure that orangutans like Tuan, Tuandua and Tuantiga have a thriving forest to call home, and that future generations can enjoy both the chocolate and the wild wonders it helps protect.
